I am an assistant research scientist at the Shenzhen Institute of Artificial Intellgence and Robotics for Society (AIRS). I received Ph.D. from Department of Mechanical and Automation Engineering at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) under the supervision of Dr. Ben M. Chen and Dr. Patrick Xi Chen. During my Ph.D., I not only worked in the Unmanned System Reserach Group (USR) at CUHK but was a research intern at Peng Cheng Laboratory and Tongji Unversity. I received my M.Sc. in Mechanical and Automation Engineering from CUHK, Hong Kong, China, in 2020. During the master, I was supervised by Dr. Ben M. Chen as well. In 2019, I received my B.Eng. in Mechanical Design, Manufacturing and Automation from Guangdong University of Technology, China, and B.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering from Queen’s University Belfast, UK, under the supervision of Dr. Adrian Murphy. I have also spent some time at VisionNav Robotics in Shenzhen, China.
Research Interests
My research work mainly lies at developments of Morphable Aerial-Aquatic Vehicles, including their mechanical design, generalized design methodologies, dynamcis analysis, controller design and implementation.
